Every second Friday of the month at 7.30 pm we, the English speaking clientele of the Otherland Bookshop, meet to discuss a selected science fiction, fantasy or horror book and enjoy snacks and drinks in our favourite bookstore.

In February, we'll read one of the other books by Douglas Adams, which, due to a recent adaptation, has risen to some prominence ... I believe that in some parallel world, a glowing review of a book starts with the words: "Imagine Douglas Adams had written an urban fantasy novel before urban fantasy even became a thing." Well, luckily, in our world, Douglas Adams actually has written an urban fantasy novel before urban fantasy even become a thing - enter Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency!
